WJSA fantasy football league

28 JUL | BY DALE HOLLAND

You fancy yourself as a football manager? Here’s your chance to show off your football knowledge against and to everyone involved within Wingerworth junior sports association (WJSA).
This year is the first year of the WJSA fantasy football league. We will be using the telegraph format. It’s entirely free to use and there is also a very easy to use app. To make things a little more interesting and also to raise a few quid for the club we are charging £10 per team.
Prize money will be as follows
League Winner £100 plus trophy to be awarded at end of season fun day
League Runner up £30
League Top goals scored £20
Cup winner £20
***This prize money is based on 20 teams. Should there be less than 20 teams the prize money will be reduced but the league winner will receive 50% of the Prize pot. Likewise anymore than 20 teams the prize fund will be increased.

The WJSA cup will be done in house and not part of the app. Once the amount of teams are known we will inform you of the various weeks the cup games will be played. I will then draw each round out of the hat and post this out to all. The cup weekends as well as scoring points towards your league status these points will be used for your cup result. So if you score more than your opposing team your through to the next round. If it’s a draw. The following weeks points will also be used.

Not got much time at moment or you worried about those last minute transfers. No worries. You have Unlimited changes until the first game kick offs on 9th August 8pm. So get a team submitted today then review later. After the first game you will however have a limited amount of subs to be used throughout the season.

The WJSA last man standing will also be run this year and will start in October. So time for everyone to get involved in both.

Thanks for your support and good luck.
